Dudley Edmondson

About Dudley

As a Photographer, Author, Filmmaker and Presenter, Dudley Edmondson’s career has spanned 32 years and offered him the opportunity to capture the beauty of nature and our world through his lens. His photographic work and adventure travels have taken him to so many amazing places from the Arctic Circle of Alaska to the Bahamas. Through presentations in galleries, national and international publications and more, Mr. Edmonson can share his work with a larger audience, something of significant importance to him personally.

As a young man, Dudley Edmondson discovered the power of nature and its ability to heal both the mind and body. This led Mr. Edmondson on a lifelong path to follow his passion and instill his love and knowledge of the outdoors in others and inspire a personal understanding and respect for everything nature offers. Mr. Edmondson has collaborated with numerous communities across the county to help urban youth, and youth of color, experience nature and the beauty of the outdoors.

Mr. Edmondson was one of the first to highlight the involvement of African Americans in the public lands system. Unsatisfied with the representation of people of color among those in his outdoor pursuits, he created a set of Outdoor Role Models for the African American community by writing his landmark book, Black & Brown Faces in America’s Wild Places (Adventure Keen Publications, 2006). In 2021, Mr. Edmondson created a photography and film exhibit called “Northern Waters,” for the Minnesota Marine Art Museum. He is currently working on a number of new book and film projects.

His lecture was named “1% inspiration and 99% perspiration”, where he presented what is believed to be the first 360 degrees panoramic in motion (Panning) using the multi-row technique.

Thomas grew up in a family which has always breathed photography, so his passion for the art developed at a very early age and has been ingrained into his ”DNA” ever since. Erh’s father was a cinematography director, and his mother worked for Kodak for many years. Thomas’ brother is also in the creative industry, he worked as an art director in a number of top advertising agencies, until establishing his own agency.

Erh graduated in advertising at the Pontifical University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS), in Porto Alegre (southern Brazil), and soon started working in the largest advertising photography studio of his city in 1998, where he learned the various processes involving commercial photography.

His first company, called Thomas Erh Photography, was founded in 2003. However, as he became increasingly interested in 360 degrees photography, he later decided to focus mainly in the 360 degrees imaging, founding “SHOTS 360” in 2008 and rebranded as “The 360 Guy” in 2021.

Jason Denning

About Jason

Jason aim’s to capture the beauty of our planet with his panoramic photography, to create a window into another world with impeccable attention to detail to create huge room filling prints from both the ground and the air.

From the beginning the panoramic format has always been exciting, allowing him to capture grand scenes in full just as the eyes can see. But this format also comes with challenges, to keep his work interesting and beautiful across the whole frame. This requires an artistic eye, dedication and experience. It is this challenge that inspires and excites him with every new country he visits to show the world in a new way.

Jason’s photographic passion began 18 years ago when he was living in London as an award-winning Film Editor. Having grown up in the Yorkshire countryside, the tall buildings and bright lights were a stark contrast to the landscape he was used to and he set out to capture the amazing sunsets he would see daily from his bedroom window overlooking the city. He started out using an old Praktica 35mm camera borrowed from his father, but in his quest to print big and wide he quickly ventured into medium format film.

Today Jason’s favourite format is the 3:1 ratio captured by his 617 panoramic film camera, a format that matched what he knew and loved from the big screen and achieves his goal to capture the bigger picture in a single shot for billboard sized pictures that do not sacrifice on quality. Learning on film from day one has taught Jason how to be a better and more patient photographer, he must be confident in his shot not to waste film. Large format requires a slowness that keeps Jason thinking all the time as the camera cannot do anything on its own, he is in full control which in turn means everything in his work is a result of intentional thought, years of experience and his vision.
