Perri K Schelat

About Perri

My passion for photography and the images I create are the expressions of my love of nature and my own personal development.

My passion for photography began with a love of the outdoors. Being surrounded by nature always feels intensely calming and meaningful. I could say my reaction to being in nature feels spiritual and soulful, something that moves me to my core. It centers me and helps me understand what is important in life. I suppose being in nature feels like my sanctuary, where I go to show gratitude, feel grateful and connected to the things that are important to me.

Early on, I enjoyed photography and seemed to be able to make well-composed images. The next transition seemed fitting that I’d try to record these feelings about nature in a photograph. My photographs became as much about my personal journey as they were about capturing the beauty that surrounded me.

Along the way, I developed a deep passion for photography. Unlike many people who don’t like to say their work defines them…. my photography defines me in so many ways. Every struggle, every passion, every tear, every effort I make is tied up in each image.

Technically, I’d like to think my artistic vision and approach to photography is unique. I want my images to be different. I became very interested in utilizing a wide-angle perspective, with foregrounds just inches away from my lens, leading to a formidable background with sharp depth of field throughout. Before long this approach has become my technique and style.

As I continue pursuing my artistic visions as a landscape photographer, it seems as if each photograph I make is a reflection of my journey in my personal life, as an artist and as a professional photographer.

Sean Davey

About Sean

Sean Davey first picked up a Kodak 126 Instamatic camera after school one afternoon in late October of 1977, to photograph a tiny perfect wave at his home beach Little did he know at the time that it would develop (pardon the pun) into a lifelong obsession that would take Sean many, many places, in pursuit of his chosen craft of photography. As a child, he was attracted to the photography of Aussie icon; Max Dupain and the influence often shows in Sean’s photography.

Fast forward some 30 years and Sean is now a veteran of the surf scene. Widely published in several countries, a career that has spawned more than a 140 magazine covers along the way. An amicable character, Sean is well liked by his peers and widley respected as a creator of innovative, ocean inspired imagery. Style is a large factor in Sean’s work and often is what sets it apart from other shooters. Sean spends much of the Hawaiian summer, photographing turtles, dolphins and fish, along with whatever else happens along the way. Ocean photography has always been a dominant part of Sean’s work It’s part recreation, part work, he says, but always satisfying to do.

Sean is an Epson Ambassador.

Lucie Debelkova

About Lucie

Born in one of the most beautiful cities in the world – Prague, but as we all do, I took its beauties for granted and tried to find more beauties around the world.

My first trips took me to places where ancient civilizations left their mark such as India, Egypt and Middle East. Traveled as far as Mongolia, New Zealand or Alaska, always enjoying discovering new places and if lucky returning there too. I slowly but surely got used to it and travelled to over 90 countries ever since, finding home in different places of the world.

Wherever I went I always had a camera in hand, taking snapshots to document these experiences and explorations. Gradually, over time, a shift occurred and a curiosity crept in: How can I more fully capture the essence and feeling of being alive and engaged in the larger world? Through this simple question I have begun to acquire a knowledge concerning the art and process of making photographs.

My work was featured in many countries of the world, across countless book or CD covers, calendars, magazines such as Sunday Times, New York Times, Wanderlust, Lonely Planet, Outdoor Photography, Digital Photographer, What Digital Camera, East & West etc. It has flown around the world in airline magazines of Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, Etihad, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Jazeera etc. It is frequently being used for website design to enhance visual appeal of internet presentation.

Kuwait, where I’m currently based, is my 4th place where I’ve lived, after earlier years spent in Prague, 5 years in Netherlands and a year in London. Exploring Middle East always was and still is one of the things that I truly enjoy. Kuwait currently represents great base for such adventures.
