About Abe

Abe Blair has been a professional photographer for over 25 years.  Cutting his teeth in the snowboard and ski industry for a decade, chasing top tier athletes and storms around the world.  Documenting multiple Xgames and Olympics and countless days deep in the backcountry he developed the ability to produce images in less than ideal and adverse conditions.

Pivoting to gallery landscape work in 2012 he has accumulated over 100 awards in the field of astro, wildlife and landscape photography.  Based in the Sierra Nevada mountains on the shores of Lake Tahoe he has had his own galleries and is currently represented by a few in the Tahoe area.  His summers are spent in wilderness Alaska managing lodges for bear photography and fly fishing.
