Craig Bill

About Craig

Wild about science but tamed by wonder,  I was raised with adventurous and “explorational” family members.  Restless in spirit and haunted by nature’s charisma, I photograph my heart out.  My name is Craig Bill and I am a landscape and fine art photographer residing in Austin, Texas USA.   Technological advances in photographic science not only allow me to appreciate and utilize past techniques, but embrace the future – one that helps me capture the hidden or subdued patterns and processes of our natural world.  Some of these include long exposures revealing star trails, moon trails and still time lapse imagery.  I collect images with obsessive abandon.  I wander without destination.  I am comfortable with my feet on the ground and my head in the clouds – but not so much in between. At heart, I leave the house to be at home.   By pursuing unique, high impact and creative compositions, I hope to bring you with me to share and cultivate appreciation or a sense of wonder about our planet’s fragile beauty.
